We are extremely proud to have been voted as the 'Fishery Of The Year 2023' by you, the angler, as the fishery of the year 2023 in the Angling Times. Steve Winter paid a visit to the fishery to sit down with Grant to discuss the challenges faced in bringing the site back to its former glory and the everyday challenges that come with fishery management.
Since taking over in 2020, it's safe to say we haven't wasted any time in making Moorlands great once again. From the renovation work and new pegs on the lakes to stocking programmes, opening an on-site tackle shop and installing a new cafe and bar, we aim to continue making Moorlands THE best commercial fishery in the UK.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who took the time to vote for us and for recognising all of the hard work we have put in - thank you. However, we are far from done!
